It is the duty of the Animal Control Officer, or other person authorized by the Chief of Police, to seize and impound for the times and under the conditions hereinafter stated the following:
A. Every abandoned animal;
B. Every potentially dangerous or dangerous animal;
C. Every animal which is a nuisance;
D. Every cat or dog that is not spayed or neutered;
E. Every rabies suspected or animal that has not been vaccinated against rabies;
F. Every animal at large;
G. Any animal keeping or harboring of which is declared to be an offense in this chapter;
H. Every animal that poses a threat to the public, be wild by nature or aggressive behavior; and
I. Every animal not city registered. (Ord. 312, 1-4-2018)
