§ 73.08 PROHIBITED USE ON SIDEWALKS AND OTHER AREAS.
   (A)   No person shall operate a golf cart, riding mower or ORV upon any sidewalk, pedestrian way, or upon the area between the sidewalk and the curb line of any street in the city, except:
      (1)   For the purpose of mowing grass between the sidewalk and the curb line; or
      (2)   As specifically authorized for the purpose of legally crossing the street to obtain immediate access to an area where the golf cart is authorized to operate.
   (B)   No person may operate a golf cart, riding mower or ORV for any reason on the following streets:
      (1)   Any street where operation is prohibited by a posted sign;
      (2)   State Road 48 and 59 on their entire length;
      (3)   Any of the above streets, except for State Road 48 and 59, may be driven across from one side to the other at the intersections; and
      (4)   No person may operate a golf cart, riding mower or ORV in the following areas, unless authorization is first obtained from the Common Council or another authorized representative of the city:
         (a)   Any property owned or leased by the city; and
         (b)   Anywhere in the city of the grass skirt area between the street and sidewalk, except as necessary to mow grass growing between the street and the sidewalk.
   (C)   No person shall fail to obey any sign, marker, or speed limit or other control device erected in accordance with this or any other applicable law.
