(A) The following charges (fines) shall be paid to the General Fund of the city by violators who park at parking meters past the time paid for by such violator (overtime parking), to wit: $0.50 if paid within: 24 hours of the time the ticket is received, after 24 hours the charge (fine) shall be $1. Charges (fines) not paid by violator within 72 hours may be referred to the court of proper jurisdiction where upon conviction charges (fines) and costs shall be assessed.
(B) The following fines shall be paid to the General Fund of the city by those who violate the two-hour parking signs that have been installed by the city, to wit: $0.50 if fine is paid before vehicle is moved, $1 if fine is paid after the vehicle is moved. Fines not paid by violator with 72 hours may be referred to the court of proper jurisdiction where, upon conviction, charges (fines) and costs shall be assessed.
