Appropriate and unified landscaping is essential to meet the community objectives established in the Comprehensive Plan. A Landscape Plan must be submitted in the Site Plan review stage for all development in R-3 Districts and all Business and Industrial Districts.
(A) Minimum requirements. In all districts, all developed uses shall provide and maintain a landscaped area according to minimums in the District Requirements Chart. Planting within the area shall be subject to approval of the City Council. Ponds are permitted as a landscaping component.
(B) Landscape yard along all streets. In all residential districts, all developed uses shall provide and maintain a landscaped front yard. The front yard shall be kept clear of all structures, storage and off-street parking, except upon driveways.
