Before the city disposes of a significant parcel of real property, the city shall provide public notice of the proposed disposition and of a public hearing to receive public comment on the proposed disposition. Notice of the public hearing for a proposal to vacate a public street, right of way, or easement shall be governed by section 10-9a-208 of the Utah code, as amended. All other types of notices to dispose of real property shall be given at least fourteen (14) days before the public hearing, shall give the date, time and place of the public hearing, and shall be:
(1) Published in a newspaper of general circulation in the area;
(2) Published on the Utah public notice website; and
(3) Posted at city hall and on the city's website. (Ord. 2016-23, 2016)
