(1) It is unlawful for the owner, occupant, lessor or agent of any property abutting a paved sidewalk that is immediately adjacent to such property owner's front and side yard or a privately maintained landscape buffer between the property and the sidewalk, to fail to remove or have removed from such paved sidewalk, all hail, snow, sleet, or ice thereon within a reasonable time after such snow, hail or sleet has fallen or such ice has formed. (2) It is unlawful for any person to deposit onto, or to allow to remain on the sidewalk or in the gutter, dirt, leaves, weeds or any other material that can clog or prevent the free flow of water therein. (Ord. 2011-01, 2011)
