Sidewalks that are within the public right of way and outside of a property owner's driveway shall generally be maintained by the city, unless the city makes a determination that damage to said sidewalk was caused by the property owner or someone acting on the property owner's behalf. In the event the city makes such a determination, the city shall give the property owner written notice thereof in the form of a written notice of violation that also gives notice of the property owner's right to request a hearing regarding that determination, all pursuant to the city's administrative code enforcement procedures set forth in this code. In the event the property owner fails to repair the sidewalk within the time allowed in the written notice of violation, the city may pursue all remedies available, including, but not limited to, those remedies set forth in the city's administrative code enforcement procedures.
