In the event that the city in its sole direction determines that any water line of the city must be moved or replaced, the city shall bear that portion of the cost of such move or replacement which applies to main lines up to the property line of the customer. The cost of reconnecting such new line or lines from the house of the customer to his property line shall be borne by the customer. (Prior Code § 14-109)
