The City reserves the right to establish, by ordinance, or in individual wastewater discharge permits, more stringent standards or requirements on discharges to the POTW consistent with the purpose of this chapter. In addition, the manager is authorized to temporarily or permanently revoke or suspend issuance of any type of permit at any time, in order to protect the POTW from pass through or Interference, or in order to maintain compliance with any UPDES permit requirement or pretreatment program requirement. The manager shall also have the right to deny new or increased contributions, or to set additional conditions on such contributions, to protect the POTW, including limits that may be more stringent than the approved local limits.
