§ 100.02 DEFINITIONS.
   In addition to those terms defined in ILCS Ch. 415, Act 5, § 39.2, the following terms are applicable to this chapter.
   ACT. The Illinois Environmental Protection Act, as amended, (ILCS Ch. 415, Act 5, §§ 1 et seq.).
   APPLICANT. Whether or not capitalized means any person, firm or partnership, association, corporation, company, or organization of any kind who submits an application for site location approval of a pollution control facility to the village.
   APPLICATION. Whether or not capitalized means the petition or application for site location approval for a pollution control facility submitted to the Village Clerk pursuant to this chapter.
   COUNTY. The Illinois county in which the pollution control facility seeking site location approval from the village is located.
   FACILITY. Whether or not capitalized means a "pollution control facility" as defined by the Act.
   HEARING OFFICER. An attorney licensed to practice in the State of Illinois, appointed by the Village President to conduct the public hearing associated with a siting application.
   PUBLIC RECORD. The application and all related documentation as further described in § 100.11.
   SITE. Is potentially, but not necessarily broader than facility and means the parcel(s) of property on which the facility is located as designated by the applicant.
   VILLAGE. The Village of Itasca, Illinois.
   VILLAGE ADMINISTRATOR. The Village Administrator and, in his/her discretion, consultant(s) and village staff.
   VILLAGE BOARD. The duly elected or appointed, as the case may be, corporate authorities of the Village of Itasca, Illinois, specifically the Trustees and Village President.
   VILLAGE CLERK or CLERK. The Village Clerk for the village or his/her designee. When a document is received by the Village Clerk's office and stamped with the date it is received, it is considered received by the Village Clerk.
   VILLAGE PRESIDENT. The Village President is also referred to as the Mayor or Village Mayor for the village.
