§ 72.999 PENALTY.
   (A)   Any person who violates any provision of this chapter for which no penalty is provided shall be subject to the terms of § 10.99.
   (B)   Any person receiving a citation for any parking violation in the city shall be deemed to have committed a violation and shall be fined in an amount not less than $20 nor more than $100 for each offense.

    (C)   (1)   All persons and vehicles in violation of the following shall be guilty of a violation and shall incur the designated fines:

      (2)   If an imposed fine is not paid within seven days, the Chief of Police shall make a complaint and file same with the County District Court.
   (D)   All fines shall be in addition to removal costs and storage, and if not paid, shall be subject to recovery by all remedies provided, including, but not limited to, citation before the courts of the state.
   (E)   Each two hours a vehicle is in violation of this chapter shall constitute a separate offense.
   (F)   Whoever violates any provision of § 72.015 shall be guilty of a violation and shall be punished by a fine of $25 for each offense. Each two-hour period the provision of § 72.015 may be violated shall be considered as a separate offense. If the fine is not paid within 24 hours of issuance of a citation, the fine shall increase by the sum of $10 per day for each day it remains unpaid.
   (G)   (1)   Any person violating any provision of § 72.016 concerning the parking of motor vehicles in business parking lots after hours, and for which a citation is issued shall be fined $5 for each offense. The fine shall be paid to the Police Department within seven days after the citation therefore is issued. If the fine is not paid within seven days, the citing officer shall make a complaint to the District Court, and the violation shall constitute a misdemeanor.
      (2)   The fact that a vehicle which is illegally parked is registered in the name of a person shall constitute a prima facie presumption that the registered owner was in control of the vehicle at the time of parking.
   (H)   (1) Any person who shall violate or permit or allow anyone to violate any section of §§ 72.035 through 72.041 may present the parking violation or traffic violation ticket, that has been placed upon his or her vehicle to the Police Department dispatcher or place the provided ticket envelope in one of the meter boxes within 24 hours after the citation therefore is issued, and pay to the Police Department dispatcher or seal in the ticket envelope the sum of $0.50 as the penalty for the violation, or the sum of $2.50 if presented and paid within 72 hours of the violation. If the same is not paid within the period of 72 hours, a complaint shall be made to the District Court, and the violation shall constitute a misdemeanor.
      (2)   The fact that a vehicle which is parked in violation of §§ 72.035 through 72.041 is registered in the name of a person shall constitute a prima facie presumption that the registered owner was in control of the vehicle at the time of the parking.
