Any person found to be violating any provision of this chapter except § 50.005 shall be served by the city with written notice stating the nature of the violation and providing a 30-day time limit for the satisfactory correction thereof. The offender shall, within the period of time stated in the notice, permanently cease all violations. Persons in violation of a valid permit for industrial waste discharge are subject to the provisions of §§ 50.060 through 50.068.
