§ 36.172 PERSONAL LEAVE TIME.
   (A)   A full-time employee will receive one paid personal leave day each year from the beginning of employment with the city through the end of tenth year of employment. A full-time employee will receive two paid personal leave days each year from the eleventh year of employment and each year thereafter. Personal days may be used by the employee for any purpose.
   (B)   An employee will not accrue personal leave. All personal leave time will expire at the end of the calendar year if not used.
   (C)   An employee will receive advance approval from his or her immediate supervisor prior to the use of any personal leave time by the submission of an Absentee Request Form in accordance with §§ 36.170 through 36.185. Requests for use of personal leave time should be made as soon as possible to ensure minimum disruption to the department and the organizational work schedule and workflow.
   (D)   An employee will not receive compensation for any unused personal leave time upon separation from employment.
