§ 36.060 OPEN DOOR POLICY - COMPLAINT PROCEDURE.
   (A)   At the city, we encourage all employees and volunteers to meet with their immediate supervisor, any supervisor they feel comfortable with or the Mayor to discuss any employment issues or concerns that they may have.
   (B)   The city is committed to maintaining this open door policy where honest discussion of employee and volunteer concerns can take place in a safe and supportive environment.
   (C)   Misunderstandings or conflicts can arise in any organization. To ensure effective working relations, it is important that such matters be resolved before serious problems develop. Most incidents resolve themselves naturally; however, if a situation persists that the employee believes is detrimental to him or her or to the city, he or she should bring his or her concerns to the attention of a supervisor or the Mayor.
