(A) An employee may be demoted upon recommendation of a supervisor on the Disciplinary Form and with the approval of the Mayor.
(B) The provisions of KRS 15.520 will regulate demotions of officers in the Police Department who have completed the introductory period only when involving an external citizen’s complaint or any violation of law enforcement procedures and the officer has completed the introductory period.
(C) All pertinent documentation of demotions, including the Disciplinary Form, will be entered into the employee’s personnel file.
