§ 135.02  CARRYING OR DISCHARGE OF FIREARMS PROHIBITED.
   (A)   No person, except a police or other peace officer in the discharge of his duty, shall fire or discharge a revolver, pistol, shot gun, rifle, air rifle or other similar device capable of propelling a missile, in or across any public or private property within the city. 
   (B)   It shall be unlawful for any person, except a police or other peace officer in the discharge of his duty, to carry any firearm enumerated in division (A) hereof within the city, without first securing a written permit to do so from the Chief of Police.
   (C)   All weapons, guns, pistols or firearms carried, possessed or used contrary to the preceding divisions hereof are hereby declared forfeited to the city.
