(A) All filling or service stations in the city must obtain a license to operate said filling of service station by making application for same to the office of the City Clerk on forms furnished by the Clerk for said license application. Said license shall be effective for one year and shall be renewed on January 1, annually, of each year.
(B) Before the City Clerk shall deliver such license, the applicant therefor shall pay the City Treasurer the sum of $5. When the said license is issued to a new filling or service station for a period of less than six calendar months next preceding January 1, the City Treasurer shall collect a total of one-half of the license fee hereinbefore provided; in all other instances the City Treasurer shall collect the full amount hereinbefore provided.
