For the purpose of this subchapter, the fthe distance of the width of the said thoroughfare.
LOT LINE, FRONT. The lot boundary running along the front of a lot and wholly within the lot.
LOT LINE, REAR. The lot boundary opposite and most distant from the front lot line, and wholly within the lot.
LOT LINE, SIDE. The lot boundary running from the front lot line to the rear lot line of either side and wholly within the lot.
PLACES OF PUBLIC ASSEMBLY. Schools, public libraries, churches, auditoriums, institutions, hospitals, public playgrounds, parks and similar uses.
SERVICE STATION. (See FILLING STATION.)
STORY. The portion of a building included between the upper surface of any floor and the upper surface of any floor above.
STREET. A public or private thoroughfare, 40 feet or more in width, which affords the principal means of access to abutting property; provided that this definition shall include any street dedicated and of record prior to the enactment of this subchapter.
STRUCTURES. Any combination of materials, including buildings, constructed or erected, the use of which requires location on the ground, including but not limited to signs, billboards and fences.
