For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
MOTOR-DRIVEN CYCLE. All motorcycles, including motor scooters, which are propelled by a motor attached thereto and made a part thereof, which can produce up to but not exceeding five maximum brake horsepower, and every bicycle with a motor attached.
MOTORCYCLE. Every vehicle having a seat or saddle for the use of the rider which is propelled by a motor made a part thereof and which is designed to travel on not more than three wheels in contact with the ground.
