§ 120.119  ISSUANCE OF LICENSE; LIABILITY INSURANCE.
   The City Clerk is hereby authorized to issue a motor bus license or a renewal thereof to any person as a common carrier in the city upon the approval of the application therefor by the City Council, and before any license is issued the applicant shall file with the City Clerk a certified copy of the permit issued by the Michigan Public Service Commission and a certified copy of the contract of insurance or indemnity bond or agreement filed with the Michigan Public Service Commission. In event the applicant requests authority to operate within the limits of the city, only, he shall file with the City Clerk, before any license shall be issued, an insurance police providing a limit of liability of not less than $20,000 for bodily injury or death to any one person, and a total disability of not less than $40,000 for all injuries and deaths resulting from any one accident. Such policy shall further provide a limit of not less than $5,000 liability for property damage. Such policy shall provide further that the insurance company issuing same shall give the City Clerk five days notice of any contemplated cancellation of said policy, and shall also notify the City Clerk when such policy for any reason is cancelled. The policy shall be approved by the city attorney.
