(A) An application, either original or renewal, to operate one or more motor buses on the city highways shall set forth the factory serial numbers of the buses to be operated, the owner's identifying number printed on the outside of each bus to be licensed, the number of buses the applicant desires to operate, the proposed route or routes on the city highways, the proposed motor bus schedule, the proposed schedule of fares and the proposed loading stations, and shall be filed with the City Clerk. The Clerk shall refer such application to the safety commission for its investigation and recommendation in connection therewith.
(B) The route or routes over which the applicant desires to operate motor buses, as defined herein, shall be strictly adhered to by the applicant, if and when such route is approved by the City Council. Any route and motor bus schedule on which applicant proposes to operate, and the amount of any fare or schedule of fares covering the charge for transportation wholly within the corporate limits of the city, shall be approved by and shall be changed only with the permission of the City Council.
(C) Any motor bus licensed under this chapter may stop to take on or discharge passengers at such street intersections or bus stops on such route or routes as determined by the safety commission and approved by the City Council.
