The Police Department may renew a public driver's license from year to year by appropriate endorsement by the Police Department upon the application for renewal. A driver, in applying for renewal of his license, shall make such application upon a form to be furnished by the Police Department, entitled "Application for Renewal of License," which shall be filled out with the full name and address of the applicant, together with a statement of the date upon which his original license was granted and the number thereof. The fee for such renewal license shall be $3, and in case of the loss of such license, the fee of a duplicate thereof shall be $3.
