Any taxicab licenses granted under the terms of this chapter may be suspended by the Chief of Police or revoked by the City Council if the taxicab shall, with the knowledge and consent of the owner, be engaged in immoral or illegal business in violation of any provisions of this code or other city ordinances, state or federal law, or in violation of the terms of this chapter.
