§ 119.07  INVESTIGATION; ISSUANCE OF LICENSE.
   Upon receipt of application and fees as aforesaid, a copy of the application shall be forwarded to the Police Department for investigation. After investigation, the Chief of Police or his designee shall endorse on the application his approval or disapproval and return the application to the City Clerk, stating thereon any grounds for disapproval. In case of disapproval, the applicant shall be notified and no license shall be issued. If the application is approved, the license shall be executed and delivered to the applicant. Such license shall contain the signature and seal of the issuing officer, and shall show the name, address and photograph of said licensee. The Clerk may issue a license to a local organization without investigation upon being satisfied that such organization qualifies as such under this subchapter, and he shall notify the Police Department of the issuance of any such license.
