All licenses to practice drainlaying under this subchapter shall expire on the first Tuesday in May following the date of the issuance of such license. However, all licenses to engage in the business of drainlaying may be renewed within 60 days from the date of expiration of such license by filing a proper application therefor with the Director of the Department of Public Services and paying the required fee hereinafter set forth.
