§ 117.03  CERTIFIED TECHNICIANS; LICENSE REQUIRED; IDENTIFICATION CARDS.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for any person to engage in the occupation or trade of a certified technician without a license therefor as hereinafter provided; provided, that the provisions of this subchapter shall not apply to any employee of a licensed service dealer performing services with his approval under the direction of the certified technician, nor to a student or apprentice when accompanied and supervised by a certified technician. All such employees shall carry official identification cards, of such form and style as the Board of Examiners shall prescribe, to be issued be the service dealer, identifying them as authorized employees of said service dealer and bearing the license number of said service dealer, which shall be displayed upon demand to the customer.

   (B)   An applicant for a certified technician's license shall be over 21 years of age and show four or more years experience in servicing receiving equipment, or a combination of technical training at a university, college, correspondence or trade school and practical experience equivalent to two years with a minimum of one year of practical experience. The applicant shall submit to the examination hereinafter provided. Provided, that any such applicant who shall submit a written statement verified by at least two witnesses showing names, places, addresses and dates that the applicant has engaged in such servicing for four or more years prior to the effective date hereof, shall have 50% of the points added to the examination rating of the applicant.
