For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
CLERK, MANAGER, FIRE CHIEF, CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER or POLICE CHIEF. Whenever these terms are used, they shall also include the duly authorized representative of said city officials.
MASSAGE PARLOR. Any building, room, place or establishment, other than a regularly licensed hospital or dispensary, where nonmedical and nonsurgical manipulative exercises are practiced upon the human body, for other than cosmetic or beautifying purposes, with or without the use of mechanical or bathing devices, by anyone not a physician or surgeon or of a similarly registered status.
PERSON. Every natural person, firm, copartnership, association or corporation and their legal successors.
