Any license issued under this subchapter may be revoked by the City Council for cause if the licensee shall violate this subchapter or any applicable provision of this code, any applicable ordinance of the city, or state or federal law, or if the Zoning Board of Appeals shall fail to renew any temporary certificate of compliance or occupancy previously granted to the licensee; provided, the licensee shall be notified of any hearing ordered by the Council, in such manner as the Council shall direct.
