§ 113.212  LICENSE APPLICATION; INSPECTIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS.
The City Manager shall determine whether or not said license shall be issued, revoked or suspended after reviewing the recommendation of the Fire Chief, Police Chief and the Building Department.  The Fire Chief shall inspect the site and the facilities to be used thereon, to be certain that said facilities meet all requirements of the city and state fire code. The Police Chief shall determine whether or not there is any criminal record involving the applicant/licensee and examine the site, to determine the traffic patterns for safety purposes, for proper egress and ingress to said site. The Building Department shall inspect the facilities at said site and determine that said premises meet all the requirements of the Building Regulations, Zoning Code and off-street parking requirements of this code. The principal criteria to be used by the City Manager, in addition to the aforementioned recommendations, in consideration of each license request, shall be that the proposed licensee must comply with the provisions of this subchapter and not be in violation of any applicable provision of this code, any applicable ordinance of the city, or statutes of the state.
