§ 113.001  DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   BILLIARDS or POOL.  The several games played on a table known as a billiard table surrounded by an elastic ledge or cushions with or without pockets, with balls which are impelled by a cue and which includes all forms of the game known as carom billiards, pocket billiards, three cushion billiards and English billiards and all other games played on billiard tables, and which also include the so-called games of pool which shall include the game known as 15-ball pool, 8-ball pool, bottle pool, pea pool and all other games played on a so-called pool table, and all games played on a so-called pigeon hole table.
   BILLIARD or POOL ROOM.  Any public place where the game of billiards or pool is played or permitted to be played.  (Ord. 172, passed )
   SCHOOL SESSION.  Those days of the week in which the public school in the district in which the minor is a resident is in operation, excluding the summer school session in said district and all school holidays and other days in which the school district closes their schools for any purpose whatsoever.
