§ 94.17 REMOVAL OF PRIVATE RECEPTACLES FROM PUBLIC PROPERTY.
   Private receptacles for the collection of litter shall be removed from public property, including the area between the sidewalk and the curb, within 24 hours after the city truck has made the collection or in a case where the Department of Public Services has authorized and approved the use of a private receptacle within 48 hours. In the event the owner of the property has failed to remove a private receptacle from any public property, including the area between the sidewalk and the curb after being authorized by the Department of Public Services to place same on public property, then in such event the city shall remove said private receptacle from the public property and invoice the owner of said property in the manner provided in this chapter for the cost of removal of the private receptacle together with the costs of removal and disposing of such litter by the city.

§ 94.18 SWEEPING LITTER INTO GUTTERS PROHIBITED.
   No person shall sweep into or deposit in any gutter, street or other public place within the city the accumulation of litter from any building or lot or from any public or private sidewalk or driveway. Persons owning or occupying property shall keep the sidewalk in front of their premises free of litter.
