(A) No individual, copartnership, association or corporation, or their lessees, trustees, agents or assigns, shall operate or maintain a shopping center parking area unless said parking area provides spaces specifically designated for physically limited persons in compliance with the State Construction Code promulgated pursuant to Act 230 of the Public Acts of 1972 being MCLA § 125.1501 et seq., as required by Section 2 of Act 1 of the Public Acts of 1966, as amended, being MCLA § 125.1352. This subchapter is adopted pursuant to Act 235 of the Public Acts of 1969, as amended, being MCLA § 275.942(a).
(B) Any existing parking area which does not conform to the requirements of this section shall be brought into compliance with this subchapter.
