This subchapter hereby provides that the regulating and providing for the disposal of garbage, fruit, vegetable, animal or other solid kitchen waste materials from individual dwelling units and other food handling and preparing establishments, resulting from the preparation and handling of any food and/or drink, may also be disposed of by being placed in a gas or electrically operated incinerator, approved by the Department of Public Works of the city.
