The following sworn individuals are hereby authorized to issue and serve appearance tickets to any responsible person who is in violation of the city’s building, zoning, environmental and other city codes, if there is reasonable cause to believe that the person has committed an offense: officials of the Community Development Department, Fire Department, building officials and inspectors, and code enforcement officers.
