Upon payment to the Inkster office of the National Bank of Detroit as set out in § 36.01, the regular original and duplicate tax bills issued by the City Treasurer shall be marked “paid” by the bank with a stamp carrying the signature of the City Treasurer, name of bank and date of payment.
