Benefits shall be paid weekly at a time and place fixed by the City Treasurer. All beneficiaries must report weekly to the Treasurer’s Office or where directed in writing on designated day for weekly benefit checks and determination of continuing eligibility, a beneficiary must be actively looking work, and must be registered with the Michigan Employment Security Commission. No beneficiary who shall refuse any reasonable bona fide offer of employment shall receive any benefit after such refusal.
