§ 34.08  SOLICITING FOR POLITICAL PURPOSES.
   No officer or employee in the classified civil service shall directly or indirectly, make, solicit or receive any assessment, subscription or contribution for any city political purpose whatsoever. Any employee violating the provisions of this section may be removed from office by action of the Civil Service Commission.
