§ 52.42  AUTHORITY OF DEPARTMENT EMPLOYEES; RIGHT OF ENTRY.
   The duly constituted authorities of the city shall have the power and authority at all reasonable hours to enter upon any premises where water service is established for the purpose of testing, changing or reading water meters,  installing water meters, or for making general inspection of water usage, wastage, and the like, and making an examination of all pipes and fixtures connected with said waterworks.  They shall have power and authority to require any pipes and fixtures to be repaired, removed, replaced or changed where the same are defective or not in compliance with the provisions of the ordinances of the city or the rules and regulations in relation to the waterworks of the city; and shall make such alterations and repairs or do other acts with relation thereto as they shall deem necessary.
