The City Council shall appoint eleven members to the Commission on Aging. All such appointments shall be subject to approval by a majority vote of the Mayor and Council. All members shall serve a term of office for a period of two years and shall continue in office until a successor is appointed. The Housing Director-Secretary of the city shall be an ex-officio member and shall not be entitled to voting privileges.
