(A) There shall be a registration fee established by resolution and may be changed from time to time which includes the cost of routine property maintenance and safety inspections. In addition, in the case where the owner has failed to register, there shall be assessed the added costs of the city’s expenses in having to determine ownership which may include, but are not limited to, title searches. There shall be a fee for the filing of any additional or new owner’s affidavit which is the same as the original registration fee.
(B) A registration fee for the re-occupancy of a vacant property shall be established by resolution and may be changed from time to time which includes the cost of routine property maintenance and safety inspections. The re-occupancy registration fee for a vacant property shall be exclusive of any assessed fee for the original registration of the property.
