Owners and/or owners’ agents of real property are required to register all vacant properties within 45 days of the vacancy. Existing vacant properties shall be registered within 45 days from the date of adoption of this chapter. Registration does not preclude emergency enforcement on properties or structures that constitute an immediate threat to the public health, safety and welfare.
