A commission is established pursuant to the powers granted and limitation imposed by the laws of the state, including statutory authority granted in the Michigan Planning Enabling Act, M.C.L.A. §§ 125.3801 et seq., the Michigan Zoning Enabling Act, M.C.L.A. §§ 125.3101 et seq., or other applicable zoning statutes as may be amended from time to time.
