§ 151.061 PERMIT FEES FOR ELECTRICAL WORK.
   (A)   A minimum fee of $20 shall be charged for any one permit.
   (B)   Permit fees for all electrical work shall be as follows:
Circuits:
Each circuit, $4.
Fixtures:
Each lamp or tube, $0.25.
Floodlights or lamps of 1,000 watts capacity each or over shall be considered as power units.
Each cluster of floodlights consisting of lamps, each 1,000 watts or over, shall be considered as one power unit of sum of lamp wattage.
Each neon type gas-tube lamp shall be counted as one unit.
Electrical power units:
Includes motors, transformers, heating units, furnaces, power plug, generators, rectifiers, capacitors, welders, flood lamps 1,000 watts or over, heating and/or power units based on horsepower, KW or KVA rating. one-quarter horse power, KW or KVA to 30 horse power, KW, KVA or power plugs, each unit, $5.
31 to 100 horse power, each unit, $10.
Over 100 horse power, each unit, $30.
(Above fees include branch circuit wiring to the equipment.)
Fees for motors of less than one-quarter horsepower on other heating units shall be based on the number of circuits supplying such motors.
Electrical ranges, ovens, dryers and water heaters - each unit, $6.
A built-in oven and range top shall be considered as one unit in determining permit fee.
Service:
New or change of service:
100 amperes to 600 amperes, $25.
Over 600 amperes, $50.
Temporary primary service, $30.
Temporary secondary service, $15.
Plus charge for each circuit in these as set forth in this division.
Connection of service for new single and two-family dwellings only may be granted without charge on a temporary secondary service, if requested when making application for the original wiring permit, and provided temporary is ready at the time of first inspection.
Transfer of permits, each permit, $20.
Outdoor meter cabinets (in existing services), each location, $20.
Feeders:
First 100 feet or less, $10.
Each additional 100 feet, $5.
Underfloor raceways, headers for cellular floors, and the like:
First 100 feet or less, $10.
Each additional 100 feet, $5.
Residential electrical space heating:
Each room, $5.
For supplemental heating and other occupancies, use KW rating per unit described in the electrical power units.
Motion picture apparatus, each machine, $25.
Industrial and commercial buildings:
(General maintenance and installation of electrical equipment in existing buildings based on power units, generators, motors, welders, transformers, feeders, circuits, fixtures, and the like.)
1 to 25 power units, each, $15.
26 and over, each, $8.50
Sign connection, only:
Each sign, first circuit, $20.
(Provided inspection is made at the same time and same location.)
Each additional circuit, $5.
Outline tubing, (connection), each 25 feet, $20.
Hospital or convalescent home generator sets:
0 to 30 total KW or KVA, $50.
Over 30 total KW or KVA, $100.
Permits for generator sets shall be on a separate permit form. One hour’s time will be computed separately and not in combination with other items:
Standby generator (any occupancy):
0 to 30 total KW or KVA, $35.
Over 30 total KW or KVA, $70.
Fire alarm systems:
The fees for the various elements of fire alarm systems shall be as specified in the following list with a minimum permit fee for any one job to be $40.
Permits for fire alarm systems shall be on a separate permit application listing only fire alarm items.
City pull box (Gamewell), each box, $15.
Drill station, $10.
Pull stations:
First station, $10.
Each additional station, $5.
Telephone stations (2-way communication units), each, $5.
Combination pull and telephone station, $9
Fire alarm signal devices (horn, bell or voice):
First device, $10.
Each additional device, $3.
Heat or smoke detectors:
First detector, $10.
Each additional detector, $3.
Fire door holders, each doorway, $3.
Combination door holders and smoke detector, each doorway, $10.
Building master panels, each, $20.
Telephone control panel, each circuit or zone, $3.
Exitway door electrical unlocking systems:
First door, $10.
Each additional door, $5.
Sprinkler system flow switches, each switch, $10.
Sprinkler valve tamper switches, each switch, $10.
Sub-panel, annunciator, each zone (floor), $3.
Ventilation fan dampers, $10.
Data gathering and reporting panel, each panel, $15.
Central computer, $15.
Fans controlled by fire alarm system, each fan, $10.
 
   Alterations or additions to existing systems is considered new work and the above fees apply to all times, old or new, on the system.
   Electric motors, circuits, fixtures, heater units, service changes, etc., will be charged at the rates established by the applicable fee schedules on a separate permit application.
   (C)   All self-service fuel pumps or dispensing system, together with central systems for same, shall be subject to a minimum installation permit fee of $75 plus $10 for each nozzle connected to the pump or system.
