(A) Except as hereinafter provided in this Chapter, Chapter 5.68 of Title 5, Business Licenses and Regulations, of the Riverside County Code of Ordinances, as amended and in effect on January 19, 2022, is hereby adopted by reference as the "Permitting of Tobacco Retailers Ordinance" of the City of Indio and may be cited as such.
(B) A copy of Chapter 5.68 of Title 5, Business Licenses and Regulations, of the Riverside County Code of Ordinances, in effect on January 19, 2022 has been deposited in the Office of the City Clerk and shall at all times be maintained by the City Clerk for use and examination by the public.
(C) In the event of any conflict between provisions of Chapter 5.68 of the Riverside County Code and any amendment thereto contained in the Indio Municipal Code, the provision contained in the later listed document shall control.
