§ 71.10 COMMERCIAL VEHICLE PARKING.
   (A)   Except as otherwise provided by this chapter, no operator, registered or legal owner of any commercial vehicle or commercial trailer shall stop, stand or park in any of the following places:
      (1)   On any street, alley or portion thereof, in or adjacent to an area that is zoned residential to include uses per the Unified Development Code.
      (2)   On any private property, driveway, parking lot, or approved parking surface in or adjacent to an area that is zoned residential to include uses per the Unified Development Code.
      (3)   On any street, alley, parking lot or portion thereof, in any area not zoned residential to include uses per the Unified Development Code, where signs are posted giving notice that such activity is prohibited or restricted.
      (4)   On any vacant lot.
   (B)   This section shall not apply to any commercial vehicle or commercial trailer used under the following circumstances:
      (1)   Completely enclosed within a building, not visible to any person or party other than the operator, or the registered or legal owner.
      (2)   Making pickup or deliveries of goods and merchandise.
      (3)   Involved in the construction, repair or maintenance of any building, structure or grading project, for which a valid permit has been obtained pursuant to Section 22507.5 of the California Vehicle Code, including but not limited to the permit requirements per Chapter 162.
      (4)   Involved in the installation, repair or maintenance of landscaping.
      (5)   Involved in the installation, repair or maintenance of utilities.
