(A) Whenever any resolution of the City Council designates and describes any streets or portion thereof as a street, the use of which is prohibited by any commercial vehicle, the City Engineer or designee shall erect and maintain appropriate signs on these streets affected by such resolution.
(B) The City Council may by resolution prohibit certain streets and/or parts of streets to be used by any commercial vehicle. The provisions of the section shall not apply to passenger buses under the jurisdiction of Public Utilities Commission.
