§ 34.01 TRANSFER OF CERTAIN CITY TAX FUNCTIONS TO COUNTY.
   (A)    The duties of the Assessor and Tax Collector of the city, relating to the assessing and collecting of city taxes, shall be hereafter performed by the County Assessor and County Tax Collector, in the manner and as provided by Cal. Rev. & Tax. Code §§ 51500 to 51519, and the city does elect, under the authority of the aforementioned sections of the Revenue and Taxation Code of the state, to avail itself of the provisions of those sections.
   (B)    The net amount of all taxes collected for the city by the County Tax Collector shall be paid to the Treasurer of the city under the general requirements and penalties provided by law for the settlement of other taxes.
