§ 151.06 LEVELS AND HEIGHTS.
   (A)   No building shall exceed two and one-half stories or 35 feet in height. Height shall be measured from the level of the lowest finished grade on the entire perimeter of the building to the highest roof peak.
   (B)   Any building level below the first floor and on, or wholly or partially below the finished grade level (for example, a basement or crawl space), shall not be counted as a story provided its exterior wall, wherever it appears at the front of the building, does not extend more than 18 inches above the finished grade there. If its exterior wall extends more than 18 inches above the finished grade at the front of the building, but less than four feet above the finished grade, it shall be counted as a half story. If its exterior wall extends more than four feet above the finished grade at the front of the building, it shall be counted as a story.
