§ 94.01 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this chapter the following words and phrases shall have the following meanings ascribed to them respectively.
   AUTOMOBILE PARTS. Any portion or part of any motor-driven vehicle as detached from the vehicle as a whole.
   CITY MANAGER. The City Manager of the Village of Indian Hill, or City Manager's designee.
   CONSTRUCTION SITE. The location of any site preparation, assembly, erection, substantial repair, alteration, or similar action, for or of public or private rights-of-way, structures, utilities or similar property demolition.
   CONSTRUCTION TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT. Items used by workers at a construction site, including but not limited to: material-handling, earth-moving and digging equipment, power tools, generators, air compressors, hand tools, and radios and other sound-generating equipment.
   DWELLING. A single structure providing complete, independent living facilities for one or more persons, including permanent provisions for living, sleeping, eating, cooking and sanitation.
   EXTERIOR PROPERTY AREAS. Those portions of a building which are exposed to public view and the open space of any premises outside of any building.
   LITTER. Includes any garbage, waste, rubbish, ashes, cans, bottles, wire, paper, plastic, metal, cartons, boxes, wagons, furniture, glass, oil of an unsightly or unsanitary nature, or anything else of an unsightly or unsanitary nature.
   MOTOR VEHICLE IN AN INOPERATIVE CONDITION. Any style or type of motor-driven vehicle used or useful for the conveyance of persons or property which is unable to move under its own power due to defective or missing parts, and which has remained in such condition for a period not less than ten consecutive days.
   NEW OR USED BUILDING MATERIALS. Any materials such as wood, stone, brick, cement blocks, or any composition or combination thereof used or useful in the construction of any building, structure of driveway, including materials which have been used previously for such construction by the same person or other persons.
   NOXIOUS WEEDS. Weeds which may from time to time be identified as noxious by the Ohio State University Extension Service, including but not limited to: Wild Mustard, Musk thistle (Nodding thistle), Oxeye Daisy, Canada thistle, Poison Hemlock, Wild Carrot (Queen Annes Lace), Purple Loosestrife, wild parsnip, Mile-a-Minute Weed, Russian Thistle, Cressleaf Groundsel, Shattercane, Johnsongrass, and Grapevines (abandoned).
   NUISANCE. That which is defined by the statutes of the state of Ohio and declared thereby to be a nuisance, and also conditions dangerous to human life or detrimental to the health of persons on or near the premises where conditions exist, and where the conditions are perilous by active and negligent operation thereof, and unsanitary conditions or anything offensive to the senses of a person of ordinary sensibilities or dangerous to health.
   OCCUPANT. Any person living in a dwelling structure or having actual possession of said dwelling structure.
   OWNER. Any person, who, alone or jointly or severally with others, shall have legal title to any premises, with or without the actual possession thereof; or shall have charge, care or control as owner or agent of the owner; or as executor, administrator, trustee, receiver or guardian of an estate, or as a mortgagee in possession.
   PERSON. Any individual, corporation, association, partnership, trustee, lessee, agent or assignee.
   PREMISES. A lot, plot, or parcel of land, including the buildings or structures thereon within the corporate limits of the Village.
   SCRAP METAL. Pieces of or parts of steel, iron, tin, zinc, copper, aluminum, or any alloy thereof, whether covered with porcelain or other material, whether intact or in parts, which has served its usefulness in its original form and can no longer be used or useful for its originally intended purpose.
   STRUCTURE. Anything constructed or erected, the use of which is the main purpose for the premises, and/or accessory or incidental to and associated with the principal use of the premises, and which requires location on the ground or attachment to something having a location on the ground.
   TENANT. A person, corporation, partnership or group, whether or not the legal owner of record, occupying a building or portion thereof.
   UNLICENSED MOTOR VEHICLES AND TRAILERS. Any style or type of motor vehicle or any trailer of any kind or type without current license plates.
   VILLAGE. The city of the Village of Indian Hill.
