§ 30.01 ABSENCE OR DISABILITY OF THE CITY MANAGER.
   (A)   During the absence or temporary disability of the City Manager or during the temporary vacancy of such office, the Assistant City Manager shall perform the duties of and have the authority of the City Manager as provided by law.
   (B)   In the event the Assistant City Manager is unable for any reason to perform the duties of the City Manager as provided in division (A), during the absence or temporary disability of the City Manager, or during the temporary vacancy of such office, the senior officer of the Police Department shall perform the duties of and have the authority of the City Manager as provided by law.
   (C)   In the event neither the Assistant City Manager nor the senior officer of the Police Department is able for any reason to perform the duties of the City Manager as provided in division (B) during the absence or temporary disability of the City Manager, or during the temporary vacancy of such office, the Mayor will assign an executive level department head to perform the duties of and have the authority of the City Manager as provided by law.
